Dali as a cute puppy
simple words are sad to say
they leave me tongue-tied
but the hardest thing to tell you, my friend,
the hardest words i know:

My baby girl died on the way to the vet's at 7.30 this morning.
She had been in treatment for exactly one week for failing kidneys.
She deserved a better end, but the end she got was better than most.

For some people, a dog is a pet, like furniture with a tongue.
But Dali was my little puppygirl.
I say she was my dog, not like i would say that's my car or check out my new stereo,
but in the same way i would say this is my wife. She really was a part of our family.
And now i know what it is to have a broken heart.

Goodbye, little girl... i'm gonna miss you.


I want to thank Dr. Heather Gentry and all at Indian Lake Animal Clinic
for all they did for Dali and for us.
Dali loved y'all, and i do too.
